About

I am an artist, I like to build and create things.

3D printing has become one of my mediums of choice. However; I will use any style or method that gets the job done. I have sculpted in clay, painted with oils and kit bashed models.

I have a deep love for Science Fiction and robots of any sort. I grew up on the transformers of the 80's, Star Wars and movies of all types both good and bad, sometimes a good b-movie is just fun to watch. I am still a kid a heart, on any given day you may find me watching cartoons, anime or just soemthing for fun.

You will find alot of my work is inspired by Star Wars, such as one of my favorite projects the TieBot. I have also designed and built multiple custom vehicles for the modern 6 inch GIJoe. I have also done comission work of all genres

The TieBot is a creation inspired by an illustration I found online called the "Tie Fighter" from an artist named Jake Parker. The illustration that inspired this imagined the tie fighter as a mech that was a samurai warrior, Loving mechs and robots, I decided to create my own variant of this idea.

The TieBot was born from the idea that after the fall of the empire an abandoned tie fighter was found wrecked on a junkyard planet by a boy orphaned by the war and wanting to find a way to protect what was left of his dyeing community.

Digging into the junk and abandoned parts left as scrap on his home world, he managed to find many parts, that of X-wings, AT-ST's and various other junk items and he began to build them up.

Using his new creation he moved from settlement to settlement fighting those who wished to bring harm to the struggling communities. Over the years he became a beacon of hope once again to those in need and his x-wing blaster turned rifle would strike fear in the worst of the scum and villans who dare tread on his territory. With no one knowing his identity or name he simply became known as.....

The WASTELANDER

The TieBot, is a fully articulated mech fully 3d printed and is custom modeled. The TieBot can be posed in almost any way, his arms are jointed and swiveled designed with many different joint types. There are ratcheting joints in the shoulders and hip, mushroom joints and barrel joints in the arms and legs along with a 4 way pin joint in the ankles. Everything on this mech moves right down to the fingers.

The TieBot was built to scale with the vintage sized 3.75 inch figures and has a fully detailed interior and opening cockpit.

The Alien Queen

This was one of my first multi part builds with my 3d printer years ago. Many of the parts were kit bashed from other models or downloaded and re-meshed. The alien queen was built to be a scene representing her smashing thru a wall to get her target. The orange beacon is a small rotating led that gives a really good feel of the movie, I then added the small led spot lights just to make the queen pop.

This overall was great fun to do but more importantly was a great learning experience for me in 3d printing and painting. For more images head over to the gallery.
